To ask how can I ask to be contacted if an NHS appointment becomes available

I have a gyno appointment scheduled the week after I am off from work with absolutely nothing planned. Is there a way I can ask them to message me if someone cancels their appointment during the week I am off from work because I am completely free and will be able to take the appointment?

Ring and ask them..

You should be given a number for bookings on your appointment letter.

It's worth ringing them - they may not be able to help but if you don't try then they definitely won't help.

Yes just call the department and tell them. Also tell them how far you live from the hospital because sometimes they get no-shows and have a space. My dad got seen like that with twenty minutes’ notice approximately 3 months before his actual appointment.

Ring the booking hub for gynae outpatients. They might be able to help

Just tell them you are available. I did and was seen really quickly
