To think you can buy transitions lenses for glasses that start properly clear, and work in the car?

Just that really.

They seem to all either not work behind a windscreen, or have a slight tint all the time.

I want/need clear lenses that darken up when I am driving, and that are ideally polarised. I am sick of changing glasses all the time when the sun comes out, and it can’t be that difficult in 2024?

Windscreens are uv protected so it means the lenses can’t change.

My husband has glasses which go dark when he is driving if it's bright, and I'm pretty sure any tint isn't noticeable when he's inside. So I think it's perfectly possible. I think his latest pair is from Boots... but he has bought them online from Goggles 4 U as well.

I didn't go for them as was worried about sitting with tinted glasses all the time as we have daylight bulbs at home!

Some can, but they all have a slight tint.

I am hoping someone has real world experience of some that pass as normal glasses
