How to deal with work when you are poorly

Do you crack on and go into the office? Try and work from home? Talking cold / virus type of thing. Really not feeling that well but can’t take time off work, just wondering how others tend to deal with it?

If you are sick, especially with a cold or virus you should not be going in to work.

You need to think more of others around you than how you feel.

Dose yourself up and get on if you can’t take time off.

Dose up and go in. 30+ kids and no supply to be had means that there's not really another option.

Is WFH an option for you OP?

angelopal · 18/03/2024 15:07

Work from home if not up to being in the office. But sometimes you just have to admit defeat and take time off or you end up being ill for longer.

Wfh is an option but I feel guilty if I’m not in on the days I normally am, especially when others drag themselves in when poorly.
