AIBU moving closer to family?

Debating with OH if we should move out of our current house in a nice location and back closer to my parents who can help support with baby.

Our baby is quite poorly (not life threatening but currently needs 24/7 care) and we’re reliant on grandparents for the time being. We don’t want to make a rash decision but after 10 months of difficulties, living in the same town as my parents is tempting. It’s an average northern market town so could also afford a bigger house, probably detached, with access to countryside.

Currently living in a HCOL area close to a major city with above average schools, public transport etc. Location is arguably better but we’re much more on our own and all care would be nursery/childminder/babysitter.

AIBU for wanting to be with family or will I regret moving?

If you're family are willing/able to help I'd definitely consider living closer, helps to be near as the tides turn in older years and you can help them out in turn
