7 year old play date. Is this ok?

This is new territory for me!
DS had a play date yesterday with his best friend who is a girl. They spent most of the time tearing round the house playing dodgeball! Then played Lego upstairs.
We checked on them every now and then to check they were ok and reminding them it was nearly dinner etc.
DS has told me today that him and his friend “kissed on the lips” upstairs

Is this normal behaviour for this age? He’s my eldest and so I’m not sure?!

Hey OP- imo doesn't sound too concerning but I would supervise play a bit more and talk to son about what he can do or say etc. You can use the brook traffic light tool to check age appropriate behaviours.

Thank you. We had a chat this evening about it. I just wasn’t sure if that is ok at that age. They have had lots of play dates before together and have always done the same in terms of supervision but never had reason to question that 🤦🏻‍♀️
I will do from now on!

A hopeful bump!
