To get you to inspire me to do exercise ( lighthearted)

I don't work Fridays, and spend the day cleaning, laundry, kids admin, food sorting etc. And also end up doing extra catch up on real work.

However, decided that I really need to start doing some exercise.

So for first time in five years I actually booked an exercise class for this morning and this will force me to do something.

I've just had an email to say the class has been cancelled!!

There are no other classes available, the pool is shut, it's raining and I really struggle with motivation on online videos, which is why I never do any exercise.

So please hit me with inspiration so that I can actually do something today

I don't have any specific suggestions but wanted to say I think it's great that you're carving out a bit of your day to do something healthy for your body and mind. Great idea to do it in the morning before you get bogged down with nwver ending laundry, cleaning and life admin.

I love walking (but sounds like the weather is off-putting today). I find it difficult to leave the house to go to the gym sometimes so I have some little weights for strength based exercises. Also quite enjoy a dancey workout video.

Put your favourite music on & dance round the kitchen - no one is watching so be really silly if you like!

This is my favourite. The dog normally joins in. I'm convinced this is why I have fairly solid oblique muscles but nothing else is toned. It's all the silly twisty dance moves!

I'd go for a stomp, headphones in and walk for an hour - even if it is raining, always feel better afterwards.

Book again for next week though.

(I'm saying this having cancelled my morning class as I was knackered last night and knew I needed a lie in. )
