To make you aware of one of the ways men cheat

Men cheat in crafty ways by saving girls names in their phones as male names. For example my ex had one of the girls he cheated on me with saved in his phone as ‘Dave work’.

I just thought I’d let some of you know that if you ever have a suspicion that your partner is cheating, this is one thing to look out for as it’s inconspicuous. Also, if your partner is going to the toilet multiple times with their phone or bringing their phone with them in the bath and they’re constantly active on social media during that time, it could be innocent or it could be their only time to have uninterrupted time to contact their side piece/s.

that is all, and feel free to leave comments for other women about other things to look out for in the crafty way men cheat. And remember a lot of the time your gut feeling is right.

Doesn't seem like a healthy way to look at anything. If you don't trust someone, you shouldn't be with them surely.

This isn't really news.

Absolutely agree. Also, women saved by their surname only in the phone. Or talking about seeing "them" rather than saying "her" which weirdly indicated the women he was chasing Vs other women he knew.

Or regular deletion of any history. Or the passenger seatbelt smelling of perfume 🙄

Or bragging about the amazing favours he was so kind to do for "them", whilst gradually stopping bothering with helping similarly at home. Well rid!!

Surely everyone knows this?

My ex said he was staying with his Mum for the weekend - we lived some way away and I was working - and he was, but he was also meeting up with his ex girlfriend at the same time as staying with her.

Cheating women do this too

Glad I don't have to worry about this anymore.

What a shit way to live.

I was cheated on (I found out AFTER it ended) here's what I noticed, looking back:

• A simple number lock on phone was changed to thumb print and the number lock removed.

• Phone rarely left unattended until such time as the thumb print was enabled.

• Lots of overtime/late shifts.

• Shifty texts from women who he said were "work colleagues" or "his therapist" helping with his MH. I had never heard their names before.

• Changing social media names. He spelled his name backwards all of a sudden. This is so the women they are speaking to cant search for them, and then find you.

• Social media profile pictures etc all changed with pics of us both removed.

• Becoming distant. Sex life became non-existent and he blamed this on "depression".

• Long toilet/bathroom visits. He said he was using the toilet at one point, and I was extremely paranoid so I had peeked under the door but he wasn't on the toilet and was stripped off in the bathroom. I assume he was sending nudes at this point.

• Blame game. I was the one getting accused of x,y,z. When we broke up, he said it was down to my behaviour etc and didn't own up to there being anybody else.

The night before he broke up with me, I was busy wrapping his Christmas presents (as Christmas was 2 weeks away!) and it transpired that he was spending the evening with his bit on the side. Sad!

I found out months later, as he had contacted me to ask for a FWB situation (I stupidly agreed as I was in middle of MH crisis and self esteem was so low). After months of this, I found out he had a girlfriend through ALL of it. In essence, I went from the girlfriend to the bit on the side and switched roles with this other girl!

I received a text a few months after I completely cut contact and it was a girl who basically confirmed what I thought when he was with me and she said she finally had the guts to text me and let me know what went on. She got my number when it popped up on his phone at one stage and kept it.

Surely some women do the same?

Cheats, male and female, have been doing this since the turn of the century! Back in 2003, a boyfriend had me saved as the male version of my name and it was only when I found out that I was the OW that I realised why.
