I'm selling some of my kids clothes they've outgrown. Someone requested a bundle late last night, which I confirmed this morning (now approximately 7 hours ago).

Now someone else has requested a bundle that contains one of the items from the first bundle.

AIBU to accept the second bundle as well and just say "sorry, snooze you lose" (politely) to the first person if they say anything about it?

YANBU, if the first person hasn’t paid for the bundle then it’s fair game to use the item for second person’s bundle.

Aa long as they know first bundle has changed then it’s all good.

I'd probably give the first person 24 hours to pay - but others might think that's too generous. Maybe they're a shift worker and still asleep! I hate having too many notifications on my phone so Vinted doesn't pop up - I have to go in and check it - if they're the same and they're busy, they mightn't have seen you accepted it yet. Although in fairness, unless I'm asleep, if I've offered for something, I wouldn't go 7 hours without checking.

I got fed up of people requesting a bundle, me marking the items as on hold, then the initial buyer not following through by which time my listings weren't "new" and were further down the listings. I haven't been selling in the last couple of months, but if someone does request a bundle I'd message them saying "just so you know there's some interest in the (dress, trousers, whatever)". Then whoever buys first it's theirs.

Definitely just accept the second bundle.

Unless the first bundle is worth more money I’d just accept the second one.

I accepted the second bundle, then shortly after, the first person bought their bundle! So it's now winging its way to a new home!

The second bundle seems to have disappeared from my messages so I guess they aren't interested anymore 🤷‍♀️
