Hello sensible people, here to get a sensibleness check as I'm a bit paranoid about personal safety. I am staying on a big campus with isolated stretches, in a medium sized city in a place that's not as unsafe as America and not as safe as Europe (kind of like the UK, but not the UK). I was walking home at 11pm and I walked past an outdoor carpark just before the flats, and there was one car there facing towards the road, but quite deep in the carpark, with the lights on, pointing towards the road. I walked along the road past the car and the car immediately pulled out in such a direction that it would be coming to the entrance of the carpark at the same time as I walked past it. In case it was something, I sped up and ran so I was past the entrance before the car got there. The car then reached the entrance and turned in the opposite way to me.
I'm hoping this is a coincidence and nothing scary to worry about? Any views? Thanks sensible ladies and gents. It's generally considered a fairly safe campus with very little in the way of stranger attacks, but they do happen occasionally. I'm in my 40s, tall and like to think I look like a tough bitch but know I actually read as Miss Honey so IDK. I'm hoping this is coincidence rather than causation. Impossible for randoms to guess, but if it were you, would you be worried, do you think?
