To be confused about these banking conditions

I want to switch to RBS for their £200 bonus. But the T&C say you can't close the account.

Presumably it doesn't mean you can't forever, but I can't see how long you can't close it for. Is it 60 days? A year?

Does anyone know and AIBU to be totally confused by the wording?

I read it as they will give you the £200 once you have jumped through all the hoops unless you have already closed the account. So once you have the £200 you can close the account if you wish.
