My kids have little or no relationship with their Dad. He has no interest and they don't respect him. One is a young adult, two teenagers . He had an affair and buggered off and his long line of girlfriends came first so we are where we are.
They made Mother's Day very special today and it reinforces how lucky I am that he is gone. An emotionally constipated, selfish and useless husband and father.
I awoke to a text from him this morning. Before I opened it I wondered if it was a message to wish me a lovely day.
It wasn't. It was some demand or other.
It really got me thinking ... I have raised our kids single handedly ... even when married and here I was gloriously at peace surrounded by my children and their kindness and thoughtfulness , and wondered how the fuck It ended up like this.
How did I marry a man who is/ was so blatantly useless and absent.., who cares so little about any of us and has no appreciation of the mother of his children raising them single handedly ...
I wanted three children, so did he .. or so he said .
AIBU to think there is something seriously lacking or even wrong with him?
