ASFAIK not been deleted nor broken any guidelines, but I can't find it - it's just a little thread about how I think delivering aid to Gaza via the beaches is a good idea. Just wanted to add an update about progress from this perspective. I might be a bit 'oldish' but haven't lost stuff on MN before.

If anyone can help an old bird find her shit that's great; if this old bird got deleted by MN, well, that's also great.

Thanks Kirsten, that's the thread. I just wanted to add that if you put enough 'small boats' together you can make a pier - but I'm sure the experts have already worked that out; the people with 'small boats' managed it way back at Dunkirk. And things have moved on massively since then.

There's lots and lots of 'small boats' in The Med, and 100s of 1000s of people ready and willing to sail and motor them to make the necessary 'piers' to the beaches.

I've had the panic about a thread I started disappearing so I was happy to help.
