I am 10 weeks pregnant and have noticed over the last few weeks every time I eat anything sweet I get tingling in my lips and tongue like battery acid feeling which lasts an hour or so.
I have no idea if it's pregnancy related or if I'm suddenly allergic to sugar, sudden diabetes or something else.
Has anyone ever had this happen? Or know what this could mean?

Gestational diabetes is a thing and it definitely sounds like you should be tested for it asap.

Pregnancy can affect immune systems (cause of allergies) so I would get this checked out.

Ok thank you.

Best of luck. I‘m sure it will all be absolutely fine, but occasionally allergies (if that’s what it is) can worsen each time, so would suggest sooner rather than later.
