In an article today the Metro presents a list of how things are ‘getting worse’ for women in 2024.
Great I thought, a spotlight on the issues:
- lower pay
- Andrew Tate effect
- Threat to health care
- Political pressures
- etc etc all the issues we know about
And then it adds
’Discrimination against trans women’ as another woman’s issue.
What? Trans women are not biological females. They are biological males that Labour and many other people, are inviting into safe female spaces - changing rooms, prisons, hospital wards, toilets, sports.
I support people being who they want to be, it’s not my concern, this is not a trans people issue, no need to make it one. My concern is males taking away women’s rights. Something this article not only totally ignores, but has the sheer Orwellian nerve to tell us that males threat against males is a woman’s issue.
The threat in 2024 is males in female spaces. Not males attacking males. The metro is a hideous misogynistic rag.
