Waiting for a 'quick call' from a recruiter after interview and assessment, AIBU to be so nervous

I had a first stage panel interview last week for a position I really want, it's a bit of a gold dust job. The interview went really well and after the recruiter emailed to say they had positive feedback and wanted to proceed to the next stage which was an assessment. I submitted the assessment on Monday, and I've just had email from the recruiter asking if I'm free today for a 'quick call'.

I'm so anxious

the very best of luck to you.

It sounds promising. I think if you didn't get it the recruiter would have said that in the email. Good luck!

In my field, this generally means that they are offering you the role. Otherwise, we just get an email.

Sounds like they're offering you the job! Good luck.

I got the job!! I'm so happy! I thought I still needed an additional round of interviews but they offered it straight away!
