Time for a 2 year olds birthday

Inspired by the other current thread, we are planning a 2nd birthday party for our DS. We were thinking of 3pm for after nap time. Is this mad?

Morning was popular when mine were toddlers eg 10-11:30

I would avoid a mealtime for this age group personally. Cake can be cut, wrapped and put in party bags for the children to eat later.

Or do a stack of cupcakes with 2 candkes at the top (easier to put in party bags)
