People Eating Crisps

I am doing a course, there are 11 people in this course, we have just come back AFTER lunch and the person next to me is eating a large bag of crisps, the person behind me also is and the teacher has just opened a bag and is chomping them. I feel like im in a farmyard, I want to bang all their heads together and grab all their crisp packets and throw them in the bin, AIBU . i have my period, maybe this could be adding to it or is it normal to find this soooo irritating

So presumably these weirdos ate their sandwiches earlier without any crisps? How boring would that be, a dull old sandwich on its own? Unless they had a packet of crisps with their sandwich and this is an extra bag. Which would be ok I guess. Though maybe high in sodium....

And you are on your phone whilst you're suppose to be on a course.

It's compulsory to open a large bag of crisps as soon as you get on a train and munch as noisily as possible. You didn't know that? Nor did I but it happens every time I get on a train so it must be.

Exactly, it’s a crime to eat a sandwich and not eat the crisps with it. Who eats crisps afterwards?!

I think the only crisps allowed in public spaced should be the crinkle cut/ridged ones that require extra crunching power and are a lot more noisy.

You realize that you actually get moody hormones etc a week before your period? I really hate this common parlance 'oh I'm on my period, oh she must be on her period' shows a basic lack of biological knowledge.

Feckin annoying. The person next to me on a train did this with a giant bag of kettle chips. Didn’t even offer me one.

My old manager, who I had to sit next to, used to eat crisps really noisily and also loudly lick her fingers afterwards.

She also used to lick the inside of her yoghurt lids. Really, really disgusting.

I can't stand the sound of others munching crisps when I'm not hungry or eating. I tend to lick crisps and eat them really slowly, which some people think is gross. I think if several people are doing it it's actually less jarring than a silent room with one person crunching and munching away.

I think directly after lunch, in a training course/ classroom it does seem a bit odd? The only time I ate directly after lunch was when I'd spent the whole lunchbreak in the pub so didn't manage to eat!

I would often bring back sweets to have for the group towards the end when I did a course but only cos I was bored and tired and didn't want to look like an arse eating sweets alone!

Gross. Maybe take a fish or egg salad in next time and eat it with your mouth open, chomping away and filling the space with egg, fish smell. You have my sympathies.

I remember working as an exam invigilator and sucking them. Took (almost) all the joy out but I was starving.

Get a grip, and ask them to share nicely with you. After all, you are using your phone during the class so why not? 😃🤣

Crisps are yummy scrummy. My favourites are cheese and onion (lovely and stinky) and ready salted. What flavours are they eating? 😃😉
