Felt worse in my life health wise-in my 40’s

Anyone else?

I’m 46 now and from around 42 I’ve just better felt crap physically.
I had my Dd at 40 and felt the same/fantastic until 42 and since then I just never feel well
I’m happy (or would be if it weren’t for this) and have had some of the best years of my life since 40-having Dd, made lots and lots of new friends, cut right back work wise…just wish I felt physically the same as I did before.
There’s just always something.

Menopause?

Weight or general lifelong neglect of health catching up ?

Just being a busy mum ?

I'm 42 and in fine health but feel so lethargic, unmotivated and physically exhausted. I'm not depressed at all, it's all physical. I know two women in their 40s who have fallen over and broken leg bones in several places (their legs just gave way apparently, no falls) and needed surgery. They were both told it was 'age related', so now that's on my mind too ;-(

Get iron and ferritin levels checked - my ferritin was down to 6 and I felt so crap. It was amazing to have a reason (although I hate iron tablets).

Start lifting. Its good for osteoporosis and bone strength.
