If you agree to work on your non working day and then you’re not very well, does it look to everyone like you just had second thoughts and can’t be bothered? I think it does but my friend thinks nobody would think twice.

Just to clarify, it’s not my situation - it’s my friend’s, perhaps that was why she was asking me!
