I need to spend £20k on things I can all after my divorce

We got an insurance payout for a burglary and DH won't give me money, he'll only reimburse me foe replacement luxury goods

I don't want to loose it and I'll probably need it at some point

What will hold value? Chanel, cartier?

Gold? Although that would be a lot of jewellery!

Glonty · 02/03/2024 19:43

Yes. Although made into jewellery I think I'd not recoup. Maybe very basic items whose cost is based on weight

I have prior experience with selling diamonds for fraction of the valuation

Google LVMH brand list and choose the one you like 👍

Cartier love bracelets seem to hold their value.

Rolex, a lot of branded jewellery will only be worth scrap weight but a Rolex won’t lose value.

A steel men's Rolex Daytona with box and papers.
