Anyone that watched F1 would then will have seen how she was very obviously hanging off him every chance she got. For years. She was proactive in chasing a married man.

Initially he looked uncomfortable with it - it's unclear if that's because he knew his partner would see, or if he was uncomfortable with her obvious interest. I suspect the former. But it didn't take too long for him to be at ease with having a spice girl by his side at races.

She got the man she wanted, and she knew then the man she wanted was clearly not averse to enjoying a bit of extra-marital attention.

As a fan of Formula 1 since 1986... I could not agree with you more. Smug, slippery and will happily lie if it makes the team (especially Max) look better. I loathe him.

She looks like a hostage in those photos. They're actually quite sad to see.

I'm not a fan of F1, I just know some of the main characters and that it's full of power play and big money. I was aware of Geri and Christian's relationship, wedding and that they have a son together. I knew he was in a long term relationship and that the child from that was conceived through IVF and that he left that relationship for good when the baby was only a few months old. His parents didn't attend the Halliwell Horner wedding. No idea what their thoughts are now.

Not knowing either of them, yes, he seems smug. A man with multi millions and a huge annual salary, a public profile and a powerful job. Geri has also presented as smug imo, she strikes me as someone who's gone all out and fought tooth and nail to get what she wants out of life. She gained her own fame, her own money and then the power relationship and transformation into a more gracious socialite type of character. Can't blame her for that, although there is gossip about her targeting him for quite a long time and that he wasn't out of his previous relationship. Fair play to her for going after what she wants, but it's not a good look to be playing loves dream and happy families with a man who seemed to callously discard what he already had.

He certainly has some front in the photos yesterday, while Geri looks incredibly uncomfortable, just like a politician's wife being paraded as a surrendered wife. Obviously we don't know what and how long she's been aware but I can't see I'd have obliged with such a display.

Karma would be if he had been cheated on. Unless you're a misogynist who thinks women are responsible for men's sexual morals?

In the photo @mumyes posted does anyone else think CH looks a bit like Ryan Giggs, another charmer ?

Horner is ghastly but he's a choirboy compared to Jos Verstappen. Add in Helmut Marko and Nelson Piquet and a more toxic team environment I cannot think of. Max is REMARKABLY well adjusted considering.

The whole thing makes me think the entire F1 industry is full of toxic masculinity.

I am at a loss as to how CH could have been exonerated by the company's internal enquiry into those messages. Based on the messages I've seen, he abused his position & power with the EA / PA big time.

It is changing, and Hamilton has been at the forefront of things, advocating strongly for LGBT rights (wearing a rainbow coloured helmet in Saudi Arabia and Qatar which must have gone down well) and doing a lot of work to encourage minorities, women and people from a poorer background into F1. Sebastian Vettel did a lot too, so it's a shame he's no longer around. The industry is changing, but very slowly, and there's a long way to go. In my opinion Red Bull is a bit of a moral cess-pit (with the exception of Adrian Newey). They're very successful but as I said above, there are some truly horrible characters associated with them.
