“Stunning” to describe a property is way overused!

I am house hunting right now. This is just an irk re agent speak. But it seems every other property is described as “stunning” one a new build in an estate with about 8 other identical properties and a further estate of about 200 very similar properties. They can’t all be stunning.

Started with my DH now, passed a property yesterday in my village that has a beautiful frontage and I always admire - I want to knock and tell them they meet the “stunning” criteria.

AIBU - there’s very few houses that are actually “stunning” and the word “nice” probably fits better.

Not house-hunting at the moment but yes, this drove me crazy a couple of years ago! It's the same on eBay. People describing their bobbly old Gap jumpers as "stunning piece of knitwear" etc!

They just use the same couple templates for all their advertised properties, I normally just skim over their description but focus more in photos, energy and home report
