A temp a week after MMR?

My one year old
Got his jags a week ago and has been awake since 1am with a temp? Is this vaccine related just wondering if anyone else has found this. I do know the meesles part takes a few days to work ect.. FTM
Just looking for experiences.

It's a while ago since my ds got his MMR however I think they say it can be delayed between 5-10 days or something. I'd try give him some nurofen (seems to work better than Calpol) and see if he settles. He might need something to eat with the nurofen though.

My boy always got raging temperatures with his vaccines. It's horrible when you feel so helpless.

This happened to my little boy, his wouldn't come down so the gp saw him and confirmed it was the MMR. It lasted about 3 days.

To have came
Down might need unlimited caffeine today 🤦‍♀️

Yeah my 1 year old got a temp exactly a week later!

Was exactly a week today does seem vaccine related then. Did your lo have a rash? X

No rash @xoxoGGG - but a temp that lasted 24hours ish! Was ok other than that

They can get a reaction about a week after, and 10-14 days after due to the measles and mumps part. It’s two different reactions to the two parts.

Mine had hers 4 weeks ago she got really quite poorly around the 7 day mark for nearly 2 weeks only just starting to get her appetite back

Does anyone know how long this lasts? I’m on day three of this. My daughter had her vaccinations a week ago
