To worry about being absent from work the day after work trip?!

So a few of us from work, went on a weekend away, down the country, and returned home today. Management know about the trip as it was open to all as a staff trip. I’ve become genuinely sick tonight unfortunately. If I’m not able to go in to work tomorrow does that look really bad? Like I’m just hungover from the trip or something which is not true! I barely drank. Just my luck!

Start messaging the others now to ask if they are also ill, maybe you won’t be the only one.

I recently started a new job and had to call in sick on my 2nd day! Was mortified!
