Light hearted thread!

I'm 48 and I'm going with my 21 year old daughter and 14 year old son to see Taylor very soon.

Seems the trend is to dress as your fave Era.

Am I too old?

Not too old. Don't think that will even be a thing at TS concerts. I am 46 going with 16 year old dd and quite fancy sime sequins and sparkles.
Enjoy the concert.

We go in July, assuming they’re still a thing I’m getting a Chief’s shirt with SWIFT and the number 89 on the back.

Not too old at all! I just turned 50 and will be going in June with 19 and 15 year old. Definitely picking an Era to dress in! Go with the flow I say! And enjoy!!

I'm going but not dressing up but i knitted a folklore cardigan for dd 26 and her friend asked to make one for her as well. Nearly finished and am on second sleeve.

You won’t be the oldest one there doing it! Most people dress up regardless of age.

I'm going in June just after my 40th birthday and will definitely be dressed up more than my teenager! I wasn't going to pick an era, but wear a sequin outfit that Taylor Swift has worn before.
I did see some great jeans someone made the other day though and now I'm tempted to do something similar.

I think all dress codes go out the window at concerts, don't they?

I went to see Elton John and sat next to a couple of fantastic looking women, dressed as 'Bennie and the Jets' 🤣🤣

Have a wonderful time OP.

Just been to the concert in Sydney last night. Everyone dresses up, all ages. And quite a few Chiefs there last night. It really is a fab night.

I'm planning on going as Reputation and hoping they are trading friendship bracelets here too! DH however is going in "jeans and a t-shirt" 😂
