AIBU has to think people are trying to ruin my childhood memories with their so called truth about monster munch. Of course it’s the cute footprints of a monster, not some grotesque monster with a hollow head.

I must be an idiot then. I have always seen it as a monster with long arms. Am sure there used to be a picture of one on the pack. The hole was jaws, I think. Why would a foot have a big hole in it?

Oh I always thought they were monsters, claws never occurred to me.

Think that's the Aldi copies that are called Monster Claws....although maybe claws are mentioned on the Munch packets, not sure.

Either way, yes, they are definitely monster claws.

I think I used to think they were monsters but switched to claws because of the Aldi and Lidl knock offs.
I seem the remember the packets originally having two different shapes inside.

To digress slightly- what the hell has happened to the Roast Beef ones? They taste ever so bland recently!!

Have they changed the recipe recently? I got a multipack and ended up dumping the contents because they just weren't crunchy enough, it was like they'd been left out to go stale but it was all 6 individual packets? Love them because you only need one or two due to the strong taste but they have to be crunchy.

I vaguely remember the different flavours were different shapes. And roast beef (which were horrible) were thin and crispy, picled onion were wide and the other ones were the monster shape on the posters in the shops.

It's probably another one where nobody old enough to remember is around and it wasn't deemed significant enough to record at the time.
