Have you used a Private Podiatrist?
Do you think they are expensive?
Do they really help with Plantar Facilitis or it is something you can solve yourself by getting really supportive shoes?👟

Fixed my feet! 300 pounds for analysis and custom insoles.

Depends what you need them for. I go to a really good guy, just get him to treat my corns and any hard skin etc. think he takes about £30. Totally worth it. Tried to see an NHS one, all they offered me was a phone appointment. I know, wtf!?

I've also had the custom insoles mentioned above. Mine were £200 and to treat hallux limits. That wasn't a podiatrist though and not worth it.

Do you have to wear them forever the insoles?

Save yourself the money and check out Katy Bowman's books and Petra Fishers's videos

30 pounds is cheap.

Ok, this is my field. I am going to answer, it depends.
For plantar fasciitis some people get on with insoles some don’t. Some find purchasing a foot roller to use to stretch out the plantar muscle works, everyone is different.
If you are experiencing issues with hard skin, corns, fissures, ingrowing nails, thickened nails, are diabetic or require gait analysis then it can be a game changer.
