I know I’m being a wimp, feeling tired today and can tell I’ve got a cold coming. Been out for a long walk this morning but don’t know if that’s made it worse, but I’m now on the sofa feeling sorry for myself what can I do to cheer myself up?! Feel guilty sitting here doing nothing! Don’t want to come down with full on lurgy, want to feel better to go out for roast tomorrow!!

Hope it isn’t the strain of cold that I’ve had this week and that my daughter has now as it is certainly hanging about . My colds normally last 3 days max , I’ve had this one for over a week .

Sorry to hear you haven’t been well @Floralnomad , so much around this time of year isn’t there. Have you found anything that’s worked to help the symptoms?

I hate the feeling of having no energy, feel so lazy sitting on the sofa not doing anything on a Saturday afternoon!

Get into a big book and tell yourself it’s important to have time to read (kindle app)

Lemsip had a pleasing kick

then move onto a hot toddy

I’d love to chill and read but for some reason I always feel guilty doing nothing in the day! Fine relaxing of an evening but daytime I struggle!
