Is it just me or is it really hard to open wine bottles recently?

I don’t drink wine often, but the last few times I have bought some (£5-£6 supermarket bottles) it’s been really hard to get the screw caps open! Bring back corks!

This along with the idiotic attaching the lid thing on soft drinks is doing my head in!

I don’t seem to have trouble with wine bottles but you are so right about the fizzy bottle lids! Whoever thought that was a good idea? Drives me mad!

Anyone without robotically strong hands, and certainly those with older relatives, knows the trials of modern packaging. I feel your pain. I seem to have an entire toolkit just for getting in to packaging.
