....AIBU to think this may restore it?

Cried most of the way through it happy/sad tears. What a legend their dad is, so dignified and compassionate.

And all the people that support the family. Hats off.

A difficult situation where humanity has risen to the challenge and then some. People are capable of terrible things, but they are also capable of truly amazing things too.

Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

Oh I want to watch this. I saw the dad smile in a clip and had an instant feeling of what a wonderful man. Glad my first reaction was the right one.

@AndThatWasNY Every day, acts of heroism happen but we don't hear about them. His approach to life is one I would like to cultivate. What a wonderful man, and so proud of his daughters. So glad they made this film.

I have met these girls and their father a few times. He is so chilled and serene it is amazing. He's a lovely friendly guy and the love he has for his girls is evident. As for the girls, well! One of them is clearly the mischievous one and the bossy sister (I am sorry, I can't remember their names), the other has the serenity of their father.

I think the last time I saw him, several years ago, he'd been told that one of the girls didn't have much longer to live, so he had to decide to separate them in which case one would definitely die, or leave them conjoined but if one died then they both would. I am so glad to see that the doctors were wrong and that the girls are doing well.

Just watched this, what a lovely family but such a shame it's cost them being together as a family, how would you even decide who stays and who returns? And she's so far away if anything happens.
It's so hard when you're told your new baby will likely die, and every day you're trying not to think about it but trying to be prepared and then every day they live, you want to hope more but there's fear in that hope. It can feel like such a battle when your child keeps proving everyone wrong. I hope these beautiful girls continue to do so
