Child assaulted at school

AIBU to feel angry with child’s high school…my child was assaulted at school and now a few weeks later the pupil that did it has been moved into the same form as my child?

Have you contacted the school for an explanation? This sounds a very strange thing for the school to have done.

If the child who assaulted your child is over 10, I hope you reported the assault to the police, your child's teacher, HOY and safeguarding lead.
What was the schools response and subsequent action?
I am very sorry this happened to your child and I hope they weren't seriously hurt.

Who knows about the assault? Does the school head know?

I'd go right to the head for answers. And if it doesn't get resolved you could go down the complaint route.

I think the school were a bit careless for putting your son's attacker in the same form as him.
