Please! As I'm stumped

I'm in Oxfordshire and willing to travel maybe a few hours - ideally no more than 3 I don't think unless it's truly spectacular.

Looking for a 2 night stay somewhere amazing in August. Want something luxe, special, quirky. Nice walks, maybe coastal but not too bothered

I did look at the various Pig hotels but not sure

Any ideas for me please?

Le Manoir for the night, quite special, not far

Dormy House is lovely, Thyme at Southrop is supposed to be wonderful too.

We went to Richmond in North Yorkshire for our tenth. It was wonderful; lovely little town with lots of do in the area as well

We're going to the Scarlet Hotel in Cornwall for ours this year. That's 4 hours rather than 3 for you though!
