Who can cost building works?

Sorry for posting in AIBU. Did purely for traffic, because I have very niche question:
Is there someone who could come to your house to evaluate the job that HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE? Is this a thing even?
I need someone to come and give me rough figure what everything would have cost to build.
Do I need a surveyor? Is there a professional body of builders that could help me?
