To ask how to stop binge eating?

I can normally eat pretty well. I have a balanced diet and normal portions.

However if I'm alone in the house it's like a demon comes over me and I just eat and eat. I've just polished off a load of crisps and chocolate and now feel like shit. I didn't even enjoy it! Why do I do this?

Don't have them in the house, it's the only way for me.

Could you go for a run or brisk walk when the feeling comes over you

Don't buy it. Never have it in the house.
Drink warm black tea, cold iced water or vegetable soup instead.

Have you tried hypnotherapy?
Could you have someone hypnotise you into believing that when eating alone, food burns your tongue or turns to poo.

the only way I stopped this was by stopping eating UPF. It was the only way after years of bingeing on crap that I managed to stop

Have as little of the stuff you binge on in the house as possible.
Drink water or tea a lot.
Chew gum when you start to get that feeling. That "I should be eating" feeling. Ensure you're chewing when you pass places you know sell those foods.
