Item sold on eBay

item still has label from a well known discount store with the price originally paid

item sold at Buy it Now but double the price paid

Buyer says this is unreasonable

Seller sees no issue

Who is unreasonable?

The buyer is responsible for their own fingers. It's nothing to do with the seller, if the starting price was low.

Mumof2teens79 · 17/02/2024 23:26

The buyer is Unreasonable.
If you buy at BIN price it's because really want it and are willing to pay that price.

Hipnotised · 17/02/2024 23:27

If I were the buyer I'd be mightily pissed off.

DragonGypsyDoris · 17/02/2024 23:28

The buyer wasn't forced to buy at that price. Seller is 100% in the right - and obviously canny.

shakeitoffshakeacocktail · 17/02/2024 23:31

Seller is correct

Some things re sell higher due to rarity
Some thing sell lower as used

Buy what you like at the price it's sold at. No one forces you

A quick google might have been handy to see if high street were selling similar but then you would have had to see if it was available, go purchase it etc

MohairTortoise · 17/02/2024 23:31

You're the seller aren't you?
Could the buyer see the price tag in any of the photos before they bought it?
If so, they ABU. No one forced them to buy.

glusky · 17/02/2024 23:32

I understand why buyer would be hacked off, but seller INBU.

EcstaticMarmalade · 17/02/2024 23:34

Seller should have had the sense to remove the original price.
