Single and in on a Saturday night

Any other singletons on here having a Saturday night in?
What are you up to? I'm going to find aomething to binge watch and might head to corner shop for snacks. What are you all doing?

My bf of 6 months broke up with me this morning. So I'm unexpectedly single and alone this evening. What snacks are you getting?

Watching Gladiators and Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Casualty tonight!

I've had a bath and washed my hair and now I'm in my pyjamas waiting for my homemade lasagne and Aldi-made garlic baguette to cook while the washer is on (I was at work this morning and I'm out at an event tomorrow).

I'm going to have Angel Delight after and watch Past Lives on Netflix 😊

Oh no! How do you feel about it?
Snacks wise I'm thinking some of those plastic type cakes that seem to have a shelf life of 10 years. They are sort of like cheap mini roll type things , or some biscuits to dunk

I find casualty so comforting , used to watch it years ago. I might join you!

Not single but I’m on my own tonight. I’m going to tick off a few little chores (set off the dishes and tumble dryer, that sort of thing) but right now I’m tucking in to a bag of sweets and reading my kindle on the sofa with a blanket. I will also do my nails and play Animal Crossing. Drink of choice is full fat coke

Ah, thanks for asking. It was an amicable split, but I'm very sad about it. Not really sure what to do with myself. I want to watch something, but not sure what. I need something uplifting.

Snack options sound good. I love a dunkable biscuit! Though struggle to not eat a whole packet in one go 😬

Not single but kids all grown up although mainly still living at home. However we are at home on a Saturday night which would have been unheard of in pre DC days. Guess an oodie, hot chocolate and Netflix is preferable to making an effort to getting suitably attired for an evening out when its dark, wet, and cold

I'm watching "too good to be true" on c5 which is enjoyable nonsense

I'm having fish pie and vegetables, followed by tiramisu and coffee. Might have a whisky later and put on a film.

I have gone to local wine bar, where I have listened to couples arguing about what size greenhouse to buy 🤣

Home here, had sausages and mash for tea. Now curled up on the sofa with (currently) Mumsnet and (shortly) a book.

Definitely watch Moonfall if it's the one from a couple of years ago with Halle Berry. It's one of the stupidest films I have ever seen and I stayed right to the end to see it could get any stupider (it did) 😀

If you're opening tinned pears you must also have brown bread and butter with them (my Sunday tea for many years growing up)

Well… since you ask DW is out with her friends tonight so I have hoovered the carpets and washed the kitchen floor, done the washing (I know! any chance of a medal?) and watched the indoor athletics from Birmingham on catchup and now I’m in front of the tele again with a takeout and my feet up watching the snooker. You can’t beat it!

I nipped to the supermarket earlier and it was so rainy and dark out that it was a relief to get back, take my boots off and get back underneath the quilt

Ive been single for years I love it and learned a lot about myself.
Tonight is a few bags of crisp fresh cream donuts and a cheesy mills and boon book.
Ending with watching 1977 leopard in the snow on youtube for the millionth time.
Sunday tomorrow so watch it again and some hallmark movies.

Both DDs are away so I’m home alone (apart from the dog lol).
I had a Tesco Finest jewelled chicken curry with skinny fries and then ice cream. Watched Rebecca on Netflix with a cup of tea. Ordered myself a new perfume.
Now I’m tucked up bed, about to meditate for 30 mins then hopefully get a good nights sleep!
Up early for DD2s football tomorrow.
