My husband had a heart attack last night a small one, but serious. We meet loads of wonderful dedicated staff working in tricky conditions. 1960s hospital built to deal with about half the population it currently deals with.
In the waiting room there was access to water a free biscuits all the time and due to the constraints of the site obs are carried out in the waiting room and in between seeing each member of staff you go back to the waiting room. Clinical staff have mobile work stations and at any one time three of the wrote up notes etc in the waiting room. But all this was carried out professionally.
However, it was the rubbish on the floor people had left that struck me.
AIBU to think if you are well enough to drink a costa you are well enough to put the cup in one of the plentiful easily accessible bins. I saw doctors picking up the worst of the rubbish to prevent people tripping up.
It made me really sad and yes I picked up rubbish that I hadn't myself created.
