AIBU to want to send this bank statement in the pic attached with my transactions blacked out for privacy? My name and address is at the top of the printed bank statement which is all that they need.

Yes. They will need the header for the bank your address and the date. You can even blank out you account number

Is it a print out from the internet or one they've posted to you?

Yes I worked for a time in HR and it used to do this for people as they often didn't.

Yes, the bank header is there with my name & address which I have not blanked out because it is needed. I downloaded my bank statement and printed it at home like I have always done for proof of address only that this time, I decided to blank out transactions & balances

Yes I though so but then once I had blacked it out with marker, it looked a bit strange 🤣🤣 because I have never blacked out my statement for proof address before because I have never cared as such but now I do 🙄

And absolutely definitely black out the balance.

It is fine.. I would it with Black marker if an online bank statement or with post it notes if a hard copy I was scanning it..
