Anyone has an awesome staycation? I’m thinking about what is best to do over Easter? We have an eight month old baby and a 9 year old boy. Baby often cries in the car so don’t want to travel too far. We live in London.

What did you do on your best staycations?

Meals out, drinks out,
Museums etc
Other parks (my kids go nuts over any park which is nee territory for them 🤣)
Walks around
Charity shops

Am I really boring 😆

Find a forest within 30 miles and take a picnic
National Trust properties - they often have good cafes as well as ghost stories
Local nature reserve - they often have animals on site just for the holidays, such as birds of prey, reptiles etc. Very educational as well

Are you meaning staycation as in staying at home or as in staying in the country? If staying at home in London, I'd hit the museums, maybe go to Fortnum and Mason for ice-cream, Bank of England museum, London Dungeons, Ripley's Believe it or not, St Paul's cathedral, picnic in a park, lunch on the Southbank, go on a river cruise or on the cable cars over the river. Maybe a walking tour of Whitechapel or Fleet Street.

If staying elsewhere in the country, maybe something like Butlins/Haven/Park Dean holidays.

Also, look at treasuretrails.co.uk.
