Loud eating noise in the office

Hello. I recently started a new job. My desk is in an office with 5 others. Our office is also the largest room in the building so is often also used for meetings. There is an office culture of not taking lunch breaks, eating food at desks, and seeing meetings as a time to eat lunch. There is no ventilation and the microwave is in the next room. I find eating noise and food smells quite unbearable, particularly when others join us in our office for meetings and there are 8-9 people crowded in and chewing and swallowing and wiping their hands on their trousers. I struggle to eat my own lunch on days when I am in the office because I am so overwhelmed by the smells and sounds. I don’t want to bring this up with my boss as she is one of the main culprits. I don’t really know what I can do other than wait until my contract is up and I can find a new job.

Not an option during meeting and doesn't help the smell, but could you use headphones

Can you just take like a 10 minute walk each day and eat your lunch? It doesn’t sound healthy or hygienic to never have a lunch break and have food at desks in a room with no ventilation.
You need to get up and walk stretch you legs every now and again - take your food and eat it then.

I have misophonia, but the more people around the more background noise so I find it more bearable.

The woman in the silent reading room in the library yesterday who ate an apple though. GET TO FUCK.
