We need to replace the carpets on our stairs and landing, and I also want to put some in our sons room because he’s right above the kitchen and the noise travels right through the floorboards.
Want I want is a lovely natural-coloured herringbone or loop with a little bit of a speckle. However each year we lose at least one jumper to moths and this year it was my lovely all wool coat that was a total eBay find. So I’m worried a wool carpet will become an all-you-can-eat moth buffet.
Is there a man- made fibre version of my ideal carpet? Help me please!
And before you say don’t have carpet, the house would be so noisy without it at least on the stairs and corridors.
