What happened to thread about gambling?

Hi,

There was a thread yesterday from someone whose husband had gambled their way into a lot of debt. Does anyone know what happened to it?

I've been looking for it as well. Perhaps there's a privacy issue for the poster. I felt very sorry for her and wondered how she got on today seeing a solicitor

Yes, a PBP. Although fake, it was an interesting thread - so many people are going through a similar problem.

Quite a few posts disappear either their trolls, people who have shared too much and fear being outed or people who don't like the responses they've recieved😁

Why would people make up stuff like this?

Yes lots happening quickly eg he'd taken out loans in her name then the house was used to guarantee loans according to her MIl but no support or otherwise from MIL. Bailiffs about to knock on door any minute.

Could have been 2 or 3 people over a few bottles of wine "having a giggle" and making up a story. Once they had got the ball rolling, it certainly ran apace.

6 figure income for both of them. That draws in the "What are you moaning about? I'm living on a quarter of that " responder.

Also poster didn't say how hubby had racked up these debts until far down the thread. The very vague " Online Casinos and Casinos", I think.
Also very strange that she had no inkling whatsoever that he was a gambler.
Easy to be wise in hindsight. Might have got it all wrong and am doing the genuine poster a disservice.
