Is this our life now (light hearted)

So we are FTP to a beautiful baby boy 10m old. I've just returned to work FT, hubby works FT and LO started nursery 2 weeks ago 3 days a week and 2 days at grandparents.
So far LO has had a bad cough and then a temp and got sent home early and then conjunctivitis and got banned from nursery for 2 days.
I've had a sinus infection going on 3 weeks which turned into vertigo and had to go off sick on my planned return to work day. DH has got a bad cough and chills since the weekend. And today I've woken up with ear ache, sore throat, snotty and sinuses hurting again. Luckily LO seems fine!!
We just seem to be sharing germs back and forth between the household. I'm worried it's going to be hard enough working FT and looking after baby let alone one of us being ill all the time. Is this our life now?! How do people manage?

That was our experience in the first year of nursery unfortunately. Similar when DC2 arrived but not quite as bad. Sometimes the DC didn't get sick and just carried the germs home to DH & I. In our case though I can count the number of days taken off school for illness from Rec to Y13 on less than 2 hands for both DC so it did seem to help build up their immune systems.

Absolutely normal for at least the first winter unfortunately. It should ease up. DH/GP take majority of cover until you've got your knees back under the table then share. It'll be bad every winter but hopefully never this bad.
