Is there any risk of being scammed by someone asking to pay by bank transfer?

Profile looks legit, they would be transferring on collection so no crazy couriers etc.

Surely nothing can be done with my bank details?

They probably won’t transfer you the money, they use a fake clone app to show it’s confirmed.

Sorry, not collection. They want me to deliver to them for the cost of fuel. I can't decide if this is worse

Surely that's remedied by me checking my online banking before handing anything over?

Personally is insist on cash. They might be legit but why chance it?

Not everyone checks though. They will just claim it didn’t work or something.
