Why do people pout for pics? I don’t get it . I saw one on fb earlier and even the kids were pouting - seriously . I thinks it’s a new thing - well newish . Why not just smile ? Am I missing something?

They don't like their teeth?

GlitterBall91 · 10/02/2024 21:04

It’s definitely not new.. I’m in my thirties and was pouting in pictures in my teens lol.
i sometimes still do because I fking HATE my teeth .. I pretend it’s to pull a funny face but really it’s because my smile is ugly af 😂

Because they are conditioned to do so.

Not just pouting, but the thing with the hands too✌️Middle aged mums with their tween daughters do it too, trying to be 'cool/sick/chill whatever 😂

wellhello24 · 10/02/2024 22:08

ugh I hate this too so irritating! It never looks good it’s just cringey and even worse if the pouter has big ducky collagen fillers

When older women do that pressing the lips together thing 💋 in pics with their daughters...ewww 😆

Roiesin57 · 10/02/2024 23:15

It's not only the duck pouting that I don't get, but when there's a large group of girls, all looking lovely, standing sidewards & half crouching. Whats that all about? They look like they're about to sit on the loo to me! Just stand normally!
