We desperately need new sofas and arm chairs and have been offered a relatives old stuff as they are getting new. However, their house used to be smoked in and although the smoky smell went away it was replaced with a kind of musty smell. I think the windows need opening more often than they are but I’m worried my whole house will smell musty if we accept the furniture.
Any tips for cleaning it all that won’t ruin it? Leather sofa and chairs. Thanks.
