To ask if anyone had this early pregnancy symptom and everything turned out to be okay? (TW)

I’m 5 and a half weeks pregnant and this afternoon I’ve been having very light bleeding when I wipe.

It’s not filling a pad and I have no pain. It’s only visible on the tissue but it does like pinkish-light red.

I am terrified it’s a sign I might lose the pregnancy.

Did anyone have this and go on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Hi op. I did with two of my pregnancies. I had some very light bleeding for a day or two early in the first trimester, and everything was fine. I think it's reasonably common to get a little bit of breakthrough bleeding in the first trimester.
Wishing you all the best with your pregnancy!

Yes. I did with my son, and so did DM with me. Both successfully went full term, and I'm now 49 and DS is 19.

Hope everything goes well!

I had this with my first pregnancy. It happened on and off for the first few months. I can't remember exactly how long because it was long ago. My baby is now 18!
No one can guarantee that everything will be OK, but sometimes this happens and all is well.

Hiya. Yes I had this when I was pregnant with my son, same as you between 5-6 weeks. Very light bleeding, just stained the loo paper a pale pink, but went on for about two days. I was petrified as this was after I'd had a miscarriage, but everything was absolutely fine :) he's now a very robust 2 year old!! I so so feel for you, you are in the scariest time. Just try to hang in there and get through the days - with each day that passes you will feel more confident and will feel more able to relax. Hand hold xxx

If getting called "Fucking Hitler" because you try to.get them to go to school is ok, then yeah...

I had it with both of my children, it was really stressful but they were both fine. With my second I even had a big gush of blood and she was absolutely fine. Thinking of you as I know how worrying it is.
