The Massive anxiety! Virus

I'm putting this in AIBU because I know I am and being ill can't be helped but wtaf is going on ? Are other people experiencing this ? Does anyone know why ?

I've spent the entire winter jumping from one virus to another or maybe not shaking off the first one I don't even know !! Everyone in my household is over 16 so no nursery or school bugs !

This one is particularly vile ! Worst headache I've ever had actually thought it was a migraine for the first two days ! Awful sore throat and then bunged up nose. Couldn't sleep now I'm exhausted 😩. But the anxiety oh my god the anxiety! I go from being anxious to absolutely exhausted. Self employed and back at work tomorrow and feel like road kill.
Went through all this at Christmas too. It's affecting my mental health so much I'm considering giving up my job or walking round in a mask forever. I feel like I'm worrying now about getting something else.
Before covid I got colds and yeah felt crappy for a week but now I just feel like my body is against me.
I realise I'm just here to rant it's distracting me from the panic attacks and maybe just want someone to say yes I felt like that and it will pass 😩

I have something similar. Really sore neck and back and unbelievably anxious all the time. I thought it was peri so started on HRT and it isn't helping. DS also has it now so it looks viral rather than hormonal at least. Sympathy op. I hope you feel better soon

I could have written this myself!!
I had a bad virus in October, felt awful for good 3 weeks. Got better, then covid in December which hit me really hard.

In January i got sinusitis, on antibiotics for 10 days and now struggling with inflammed sinuses and ears, making me dizzy and exhausted.
Throughout all of it ive felt varying degrees of anxiety. It's the pits!

I had this in 2022-2023! Literally 7 months of one virus to the next every weekend it seemed I’d get another one.
It all started with an an awful virus in the autumn - I think it was covid now. And that knocked my immune system all winter. I only recovered at Easter.
You need to improve your immune system. It’s taken a battering. Take high strength vit D. Get as many nutritious foods in you as possible, green leafy veg like salads, nuts and dried fruits, eggs, bananas, fish. just make it a mission to get really healthy and take vit D- makes a huge difference but you have to give it a few weeks to kick in.
