ID at cinema for 12a film when two 12 year olds go alone?

my 12 year old is taking her passport as it's the only ID she has. She's getting the bus there with her friend who is the same age and looks older than dd as she's much taller.
they're both 12, but the older looking friend doesn't have any photo id. How scrupulous are cinema staff (cineworld) at checking ID for 12a movies when children are going in alone together?

My daughter and her friend (both coming up 12 in the next month or 2) went to see Mean Girls on Friday which is a 12a and were turned away, my daughters friends mum was with them but had her 2 younger children with her and they were seeing another movie. She asked staff if the girls could go in with her permission as they are almost 12 and they refused. So I'd make sure your daughter does have her ID just in case!
