Wow! Although it makes a change to see a rescue that's not people attempting to climb Munros in trainers with a mars bar and can of red bull!

She must have really thought her life was over- it was such a difficult place to reach that it took hours for the mountain rescue team to work out how to do it - she thought they hadn't seen her

One lesson that really stands out from this account is to be visible. Even if it isn't mountain rescue looking for you, your walking companions might be at some stage. If your coat is a dull colour, carry something bright and eye catching! She would have been spotted faster in a bright coat, or waving a red scarf, or similar
